Campaign image to commemorate the centenary of the writer Emilia Pardo Bazán. In 2021 the Madrid City Council pays tribute to Emilia Pardo Bazán, the first woman chronicler of Madrid. On the occasion of the centenary of her death, the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports has prepared a campaign full of cultural activities to promote her work and life. The proposals will bring together the leading experts in the life and work of this woman without complexes, who we can consider a true influencer of her time and who was a protagonist of the cultural and literary scene in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
